Student Council

Our Student Council includes every one of our pupils.

We all meet once a week to discuss ideas and concerns relevant to the Wellbeing Service community.  Each year a student representative for BGE and Senior Phase is elected to act as a leader and provide a voice for anyone across the student body who wishes to raise an issue with the student council.

Having such an active Student Council not only ensures that you have a voice in how the Wellbeing Service is run, but also provides opportunities for you to feel empowered, build confidence and develop communication, organisation and leadership skills.

An appointed member of staff supervises the Student Council meetings; helping you to help yourself and acting as a bridge between the student voice and the rest of the Wellbeing Service Community.

In the last year, the Student Council have redesigned classrooms, altered the lighting throughout the building, established a small garden area, contributed to the development of policies and created a Twitter page.
